Thursday, November 24, 2005http://www.theweblogproject.com/2005/10/06/video_clip_what_is_a.htm
I shot this mini-clip with Chris Pirillo of Lockergnome, in April of this year while going to the Microsoft campus in Redmond. We were together for the last Search Champs event (see the previous clip with Chris here) organized by the software giant.
Chris is one of the most popular geek bloggers out there, having been writing around technologies way before the blogging revolution started.
Chris knows a lot about the Internet and about how to be an effective online marketer and publisher. He also runs a truly unique event called Gnomedex that from what people who have attended say, is something not to be missed.

Steve Bosserman
Friday, November 18, 2005Steve Bosserman is an expert in organizational development and knowledge management. Accepting my very personal invitation Steve has recently decided to become a full-time blogger bringing his passion and true interests as resources for discussion and exploration for others.
I owe my meeting with Steve to Andrius Kulikauskas of Mincius Sodas, an instigator of critical thinkers, who brought us together for a conference on Open Content held at the State University of Milan last June.
Check out Diary of a Knowledge Broker, Steve's own blog and listen to his insightful information pill on what blogs really are.

Enjoy!

Monday, November 14, 2005Howard Rheingold
Friday, November 11, 2005Howard Rheingold is the author of Smart Mobs, a truly fascinating book about the transformations that our wired civilization interconnected via mobile devices is about to experience. Howard is a fascinating scholar of cooperation technologies and a infatiguable explorer of new and effective ways to make humans collaborate more effectively.
A cyberpioneer, Howard Rheingold has published another great book on the topic of virtual communities, as well as one on Tools for Thought.
I have had the opportunity to interview Howard for TheWeblogProject in his zen-like backyard in Mill Valley, California, just north of San Francisco.
Howard is a very clear and articulate speaker and I think that his long refined ability to synthesize and summarize while using a plain and simple language gives him the ability of providing a short but extremely effective description of what blogs really are.
This is the first one of three excellent clips we shot together that day.
Check out his newsblog at www.smartmobs.com.

Friday, November 4, 2005John Rappoport is a fascinating human being. Sharp critical thinker, informed, visionary, curious, precise, smart. He has all the traits that a successful news blogger should have today. on the other hand he himself doesn't classify himself as a "blogger" though he writes daily with great wit and passion at NoMoreFakeNews.com.
His take on what blogs are, goes a long way in showing his character and insight into the revolutionary world of grassroots media. For more on Jon please see:

Thursday, November 3, 2005Carolina Meneces
Wednesday, November 2, 2005Carolina is a great 15-year old from Terceira in the Azores (Portugal). I have met her, together with her great family during my last three summers which I have spent on her beautiful island. Carolina is awake as a coffe bean and ready to learn and pick-up any new thing that comes under her nose. Carolina is also a musician, a diligent school student, and a promising would-be blogger.
I couldn't avoid interviewing her for TheWeblogProject as soon as she came to visit many of her great friends here in Rome. Here, under some visible shyness, what she said about blogs.
