Nancy White shares one among the multiple great descriptions she delivered to my video camera of what a blog is; vividly painted and insightful her contribution makes me see more of what blogs really are.

The clip was shot this past summer here in Rome, in a wonderful July evening on the peaceful Aventino hill.

This clip from TheWeblogProject comes again from Rome, and Sepp Hasslberger, a blogger himself has quite a good and easy-to-understand take on "what a blog is" and "what you can actually do with it".

This is one of the clearest and less technical explanations of what a blog is I have heard so far, and while the quality of the video lacks a bit in sharpness, the multiple definitions Sepp provides are right on target.

Back to the clips! Today is the turn of Marc Canter, one of the visionary minds of the Web to come. I have met Marc in Walnut Creek, California, this past April. besides his lively blog, He has a wonderful huge black car, that fits perfectly the size and uniqueness of his character.

The iPod has more buzz surrounding it than any other product on the market right now, so much that owners have produced commercials for the music device without being commissioned or paid by Apple, just because they believe in their iPod.

Today's clip is with Gary Wood, an American that uses the Internet just like most normal people who are not bloggers or technology geeks. His take is as simple and clear as blogs would want to be. It is surprising how different is the perception of what blogs are when you ask a blogger and when you ask a street person who uses them.

While bloggers focus their identification of blogs with lots of specific publishing and delivery features (RSS, comments, trackbacks, etc.), end users identify in the immediacy and ease of publication for the layman the true characterizing traits of blogs.
