Weblogs' main advantages?
Well, normally if there is something going on, that's the way to be informed.
For instance, say, politically, if somebody lives in a country with a no democratics environment, it's the best way to give them news.
There are plenty types of examples, you can find it for yourself.
I think that's the perfect source of alternative information.
Because everyone has access to internet, and you have access to all sorts of information that somebody on the other side of the planet wants to ask to you, pass on to you.
