What is a blog? Alessia Fedele video clip
Thursday, March 9, 2006"Well, in my personal opinion, a blog is a personal page. And you can use it as you like, basically.
It's an opportunity for a person to have a modern version of a personal diary.
And it can also be an opportunity for freedom of speech even though it's written.
You can have the chance to write alternative information about facts that are going in daily life.
You can write whatever you like and you can talk to as many people as you like.
A blog is also the freedom for people to come, check what you're writing, they can write you their impressions about what you've said, about your thoughts.
It's a chance for people to meet, to talk about any sort of subject.
First of all, I think the key advantage is freedom of speech.
It's the first thing.
As you can write what you want, as your own editor and there's nobody who can tell you you don't have to write this, or you don't have to write that.
And it can also be an alternative way to information.
As there are many different kinds of blogs.
And if you want to write information, if you have the skills to write about it, you can write things that might not be said on tv, on news or might not be written in newspapers.
So it's freedom 100%.
And you can personalize your page as you like it.
Yes, I do this sort evolving.
I mean, if you compare Italy with the Usa, for example, you can see a big difference.
Maybe because this blog thing started out before in the States than in Italy. But now I think that in Italy as well there are few bloggers becoming really popular.
For example, we have Beppe Grillo. Who is still one of the most visited blog and Mario Adinolfi as well.
There are two that we have in Italy, in my personal opinion. And these are usually the blogs that I go and check to see what's going on.
