He sees them as a fad for the younger generations, and warns against trusting blogs content as a reliable or alternative news source... if newspapers can't be trusted... he says... imagine blogs!

"It’s a site where people create a sort of diary which is made public on internet.I don’t think there is much use to them, it’s what’s in right now.
It’s fashionable. There’s young people who find themselves there, some blogs have a following, it’s like following a reality show.

I don’t believe it. They are not verifiable. Or newspapers, for that matter.
The excess of information these days is a way of disinformation.
And blogs are not the remedy to this, they are actually making it worse.
